Welcoming any dog into your family is a lifetime commitment - well worth it but costly just the same in terms of food, veterinary care, bedding, and assorted supplies. If you choose a poodle, the added expense of routine bathing and grooming also factors into the dog-care ledger’s bottom line.
Unlike most other dogs, poodles have hair not fur. A poodle’s hair grows much like ours does and requires cutting or “clipping” every six week or so. Whether by financial necessity or by choice, some poodle owners enjoy bathing and grooming their dogs at home. This is not a particularly difficult task but it is time-consuming. And unless you have some training, your poodles won’t look at all the way they do when they step out of a professional grooming shop.

Some of the funds were used to purchase a large screen television for the waiting area of the Breast Health Center at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

Some of Laurie’s clients, such as Bentley (photos below) prefer a more traditional appearance. Even a straightforward grooming session at Cocoa Puffs Poodle Grooming can transform your poodle from frumpy to fabulous.
